We have created a sofa with cushion transformation to make it quick and convenient to expand the seating area, and the cushions themselves are functional.
For this purpose, we developed an inertial-free rotation mechanism with a locked end position, installed it on a metal frame, which in turn was wrapped in moulded polyurethane foam of two types of softness. That’s why these cushions always look perfect, are comfortable for relaxing, and also perfectly support your head when you turn them over the back of the sofa.
The design of Airy has features inherent in the minimalist style, which are reflected in every part and detail of the sofa. The voluminous but light forms, recognisable from any angle, are decorated with textured stitching. The legs of the sofa confidently hold the entire upholstered part together with the metal frame and mechanisms above the floor, and provide space for cleaning under the furniture. Whether you place it against a wall, in a corner or in the middle of the living room, it will always integrate well into your interior as an object of beauty and comfort.

In addition to the fact that you can move the cushions behind the back of the sofa, you can achieve even more comfortable rest in a semi-reclining position by pulling the seat forward in one movement and increasing the depth by a valuable 10 cm. And when it’s time for a good night’s sleep, unleash the magic of Airy! You only have to try it to see how the sofa, which looks like a non-folding sofa, transforms into a spacious double bed.
This semi-automatic transformation system is a truly sophisticated and well-thought-out design with guaranteed resistance to loads by using a combined type of frame (metal and timber). When the seat is pushed forward, the hidden sofa legs are transformed and stand flat on the floor, supporting the front of the sleeper. At the same time, a smaller part of the sleeper slides out from under the seat and forms a smooth sleeping surface together with the seat.
Our mattress fillings are, as always, selected to turn your daily sleep into a good, healthy rest. This is a bottom layer of polyurethane foam with elastic properties and an ultra-soft top layer of Soft Foam.
