Karol is a special sofa for which I designed an interior project, not the other way around

ROSHE company thanks our partners – the design company @nemozhetbyt.buro and especially Dmytro Kepkanov – for such a creative and fruitful collaboration.

The sofa with an ottoman the size of a double bed and an additional sleeping space had captured the hearts of Dmytro and his interior design partner long ago.

They had been waiting for a worthy furnishing and decor project to integrate the Karol sofa in the best possible way. Finally, they found a suitable project – a modern 74 sqm city apartment that was being renovated for sale and was fully entrusted to Dmytro Kepkanov’s taste and creativity

My approach is to do everything qualitatively but moderately, maintaining a balance between reasonable costs for materials and furniture.

The Karol sofa perfectly meets these criteria – it has a 1600mm ottoman, transforms into a bed, is super comfortable, and its cost is absolutely reasonable, although it looks much more expensive and premium, Dmytro admitted

With 5 years of experience in decorating work and over 30 completed projects in 4 years, Dmytro has developed an expert perspective and a conceptual design thinking style in interior design.

Thus, clients of @nemozhetbyt.buro and we as partners trust him with our properties to combine style and comfort in home spaces.

Karol sofa – high functionality, ultra-comfort and fashionable minimalism

Karol model with a 1600 mm width ottoman brings a new level of home relaxation comfort. It allows two people to sit freely without unfolding the sofa.
Despite an ottoman’s size, the whole design of Karol seems to float above the floor by supporting the sofa on high, but sturdy legs. Such modern design emphasizes the visual lightness of upholstered furniture.

detail about the sofa

In this project, the shared space of the kitchen and living room needed zoning, but at the same time, it had to be flexible.

Therefore, the designers proposed glass sliding doors in the interior design, which easily separate the living room and kitchen. Additionally, they can be completely closed off with thick curtains, creating a separate room.

The size of this room allowed for the full modification of Karol to be placed, creating a comfortable relaxation space.

The natural materials used in the decor ensured a cosy and calm atmosphere in the modern city apartment. Thus, this sofa filled the living room, providing a large relaxation area for the whole family or a group of guests

The tactile comfort and visual appeal of the Karol sofa in the project by @nemozhetbyt.buro are determined by the choice of upholstery, which additionally emphasises the designer’s main idea – the cosiness and style of a 21st-century city apartment. The soft texture of the fabric, pleasant colour, and high-quality material that feels great to the touch play a leading role in the comfort of your home.
